Shantal has excelled in the field of Neurophysiology and Sleep Technology. She graduated cum laude in her diploma and also in her degree courses at Durban Univerity of Technology.

She was subsequently invited to be a research technologist at the world renowned Mayo Clinic in the USA. Here she worked with Professor Virend Somers on a variety of multinational research projects involving the role of Sleep in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Disorders.

Shantal is the lead technologist at our Durban Sleep Centre.
