John has a long and distinguished career in the medical arena particularly in the business and marketing aspects of medical and associated companies.

He qualified as a pharmacist in Cape Town and after a brief stint as a retail pharmacist joined multinational pharmaceutical companies working in product management, marketing and sales in Johannesburg.

He subsequently set up a successful chain of retail pharmacies in Cape Town, and obtained business and marketing qualification through the Business School at The University of Cape Town.

John has extensive business experience in senior management roles and is a member of a variety of medical and associated organisations.
